Peplum- those little ruffles on the hem of your skirt or at your waistline. Elegant, sophisticated and it gives structure to your clothes. But there is more to be achieved from wearing a peplum piece than setting a trend, a peplum on your waist will cause the illusion of slimmer hips, and a peplum hem will shrink your thighs.
